Police are investigating the attempted abduction of a 10-year-old girl in Baldivis.
Rockingham Detectives say a man approached the girl on Karnup Road close to the Baldivis roundabout about 3.45pm on Tuesday after a the girl was dropped off by a school bus.
The girl began the short walk towards her home when the man started talking to her.
The girl ran off but the man pursued her for a short time before returning to a vehicle nearby and driving off.
This vehicle is described as a faded green 4x4 with a rear cab.
It was last seen to travelling along Karnup Road. The vehicle turned left at the roundabout onto Baldivis Road.
The man is described as fair skinned, 35-40 years of age, wearing a black hooded jumper with the hood up, black track pants, trainers and a chin only thin-line goatee beard.
