Contractor Brierty has appointed its chief executive Stuart Crofts to the company's board as managing director.
Mr Crofts has been chief executive of Brierty since November last year having taken over from founder Alan Brierty, who stepped down as chief executive following a series of profit downgrades.
Mr Crofts previously worked for United Group as an executive manager in its resources division.
Brierty shares were up one cent, or 5.56 per cent, to 19 cents at 8.35am.
