Million-dollar Lotto win in Mount Lawley

The West Australian June 29, 2009, 1:30 pm

A West Australian who bought a Saturday Lotto ticket from Mount Lawley News is $1,047,868 richer after sharing in the weekend's Saturday Lotto Division One prize pool.

Three South Australians also matched the Division One winning numbers in the draw, each set to pocket their share of the $4.2 million Division One prize pool.

Alex Vlahos and Jim Giamov from Mount Lawley News said that although they were rushed off their feet with players flocking for their ticket in tomorrow night's $90 million OZ Lotto jackpot, the weekend's win has been a great surprise.

"This is the first Division One winning ticket we've sold in seven years so fingers crossed it's the start of more wins to come," they said.

Lotterywest was still waiting to hear from the state's latest Lotto winner.

Tickets for tomorrow's $90 million OZ Lotto draw will remain on sale until 6pm tomorrow.
