The fatal shooting of a ten-year-old in Northland is not being treated as suspicious.
Police attended the sudden death of the boy at a Dargaville residence around 8.30 this morning.
Police spokeswoman Sarah Kennett says a post mortem will be carried out on the child and the matter will be referred to the coroner.
