Pike River families have been told recovery of the remains of their loved ones could be completed between July 2015 and June 2017.
That's dependent on a successful sale of the mine.
The assessment comes in a draft independent review.
It calculates the earliest a new shaft or tunnel can be completed to establish a ventilation circuit to allow recovery work to begin is June 2014.New AFL rule 'bloody stupid' Yahoo! Sport

Before tumbling any further with this vitriol, let’s clarify a few things about feminism. Feminism, in the most traditional sense of the term, is a movement that found its roots in the idea of suffrage, or the right for women to vote freely and...

That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever fricken heard of!!! If that was my family down there I would make every effort I could to get in their and o it myself, yes dangerous I know but what is anyone else doing about it?? My heart goes out to their families, so terrible :(
ReplyJust making sure that when they are retrieved, there will be unable to show 'cause of death'. Wouldn't like it to show asphyxiation, would we?
4 RepliesThey are trying to hide something. I never thought that I would be able to say this, but I agree with you Greek!
ReplySadly you are probably on the money greek
ReplyNOT good enough. This makes me so angry
ReplyAsphyxia or asphyxiation (from Greek α- "without" and σφύξις sphyxis, "heartbeat") is a condition of severely deficient supply of oxygen to the body that arises from being unable to breathe normally. An example of asphyxia is choking. Asphyxia causes generalized hypoxia, which primarily affects the tissues and organs. It can be caused by improper ventilation and charcoal burning in a closed room. Many incidents have been reported (death and coma).
ReplyBe honest everyone, theres going to be nothing left in the mine to bring out now,so theres going to be even less in 4 years.Move on.
2 RepliesYou guys watch way too many movies and have started to believe the conspiracy theorists. Hello, next thing you'll believe that they aren't even dead but were taken by aliens, that is the real reason the govt wont spend your tax money on a pointless exercise. If the families want their bodies home and not a monument then let them be first to stump up the millions of dollars kiwis donated to their cause.
1 ReplyWhy do people think there will be nothing left? Theres no oxygen down there and thats what makes bodies decompose
ReplyPut that on News of the World. Would really show NZ up.
