A domestic flare-up has left a man seriously injured, after he was thrown from the bonnet of a car, and then run over.
It happened in Hamilton last night.
Horrified onlookers in Claude Street say the man had been clinging to a fast moving car and was thrown off it and run over, and then the vehicle was reversed over him.
Hamilton detectives say the incident stems from a relationship row.
They say the dispute went on for some time, and locals will have seen or heard some of what went on.
Witnesses are being urged to call Hamilton CIB on 07-858 6200.
