Rodney Hide has had a change of heart.
The ACT Party leader has decided he will front the media today to answer questions about a second taxpayer-funded trip with his girlfriend.
They went to Hawaii in July, and Mr Hide paid back the cost of the trip this week.
He was already under fire over a $25,000 bill for the couple's visit to Europe and the US.
Mr Hide has now agreed to give a media conference in Wellington this afternoon.
