Helen Clark has left New Zealand politics behind. The former Prime Minister is not doing much reflecting on her election loss to National, one year ago today.
Miss Clark says she is busy in her new job as the Head of the United Nations Development Programme, and rarely has time to look at New Zealand politics. She told TVNZ's Q&A programme she probably knows more about what is happening in the United States congress than what's going on in New Zealand politics now.
Miss Clark says a typical week is busy: she is off to London tomorrow before heading to Madrid for a couple of nights and then on to Rome. On Thursday she travels to Lisbon for appointments, before going back to New York on Friday night.
