Police seek missing injured Wanganui man

NZPA November 8, 2009, 3:02 pm

Police are still looking for a Wanganui man who left hospital three days ago against medical advice.

Tyrone William Madams, 33, suffered a serious head injury after an assault on Thursday night in Wanganui, police spokeswoman Kim Perks said.

He left hospital on his own accord and police had not been successful in finding him over the weekend.

Mr Madams has dreadlocks and his injury was not obviously visible to the public, she said.

Doctors were concerned about the injury and urged him to seek urgent medical treatment, Ms Perks said.
