Police are searching for a disabled Maori woman, missing from Papatoetoe in South Auckland, since 8.30am yesterday.
Carmen Porter, 43, is paralysed down one side of her body and has the mental age of a 16-year-old but can communicate easily, police said.
She was last seen in the Papatoetoe township on her way to the Wylie Road shops.Ms Porter was described as 155cm tall, and very skinny.
She has black and grey hair and was wearing a purple beanie, light blue pants and jersey and dark blue slippers.
