Cathy Campbell, a trailblazing former television journalist and founder of a public relations company that bears her name, has died.
Campbell, married to television producer Ric Salizzo, had been suffering from a brain tumour.
She was the first woman to front a television sports show in New Zealand when she presented Sportsnight on TVNZ in 1989.
