Ex-journo Cathy Campbell dies
Cathy Campbell, a trailblazing former television journalist and founder of a public relations company that bears her name, has died.
Campbell, married to television producer Ric Salizzo, had been suffering from a brain tumour.
She was the first woman to front a television sports show in New Zealand when she presented Sportsnight on TVNZ in 1989.
Campbell later founded a successful PR company, Cathy Campbell Communications, whose clients include the New Zealand Fashion Week, Auckland Racing Club, Trelise Cooper and LG Electronics.The world in pictures
