A stock car driver has been killed in a race at Huntly Speedway on Saturday night.
Emergency services were called to the speedway just before 8pm.
The 50-year-old man died while being treated by ambulance staff.
Waikato District Duty Inspector Jeff Penno says full details of the incident are still being investigated.
