One dead after car and truck crash
One person has died following a crash between a car and a truck on the Hauraki Plains on Friday afternoon.
Emergency services are at the scene on State Highway 27 at Patetonga.
Other people involved in the crash have been taken to hospital, police say.
The road is closed and detours are in place.
