Mother and daughter injured in crash

A mother is in a critical condition and her daughter is seriously injured after a crash north of Huntly this morning.

The pair were in a vehicle with a man and another child when it rolled on Te Ohaki Rd at Rangiriri West before 11.30am.

The woman received chest injuries, while the young girl sustained head injuries. Both were flown to Waikato Hospital.

The man, believed to be the child's father, suffered a shoulder injury and the other child was also seriously injured.

They were taken to Waikato Hospital by road ambulance.
