A light plane has this afternoon crashed in grounds at a southeast Auckland college, though early reports suggested nobody was seriously injured.
The Fire Service said it had received a report that a Cessna aircraft had crashed in the grounds of Macleans College in Bucklands Beach, about 15km east of downtown Auckland.
Inspector Chris Robinson of police northern communications said early indications were that all on board escaped from the scene uninjured.
He said it was unclear how many people had been on board.
