The death of a 55-year-old man whose body was found off the coast of New Plymouth is not suspicious, police say.
The man's body was pulled from the water about 7.30pm on Friday, after a woman saw him floating in the ocean.
Police would not comment on how he came to be in the water, but there were no suspicious circumstances and his death had been referred to the coroner, Sergeant Bruce Irvine told NZ Newswire.
