Fatal fall from seven storey Auckland building
Police have closed Kitchener Street in the City after a woman fell seven stories from a car parking building there, just before 9.00a.m.
The ambulance service was initially contacted and located the woman on the footpath with critical injuries. She was transported to Auckland Hospital but has unfortunately since died.
Police expect the road to be reopened shortly, once the scene has been photographed.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and police are continuing enquiries to locate and notify next-of-kin.The world in pictures
