Wellington's regional council claims it is committed to making the capital's trains and buses more reliable.
The initial results from the first round of public consultation on Greater Wellington's public transport review have been completed and show most people are pleased with the access to services but not with their frequency.
Public transport planner Doug Weir is not surprised that around 250 people have added an extra comment about the reliability of the service. He says it is an ongoing issue but the review should help address it."We're well aware of that and are actively trying to address the reliability problems across the network with a number of different things we're doing."
Mr Weir says the public will be consulted again next year.
