Karcher is recalling a series of submersible water pumps after concerns wear and tear could lead to electric shocks.
Relating to SDP models 7000, 9500 and 14,000, Karcher said cracks could develop over time on the insulation around float switches and electric cable, potentially leading to water ingestion and the risk of electric shocks.
It advised owners to unplug the water pumps and call or e-mail Karcher in Auckland to arrange for a replacement.
