Body in harbour confirmed as missing man

Police have confirmed that the body found in Birkenhead Wharf today is that of 87 year old Korean man Hoo Kim.
Mr Kim was last seen at his home address in Ellen Ave, Hillcrest, on Tuesdayaround 3.00pm.
His body was found early this afternoon by members of the public onboard theBirkenhead Ferry and others present at the wharf.
Police say the death has now been referred to the coroner.
Mr Kim's next of kin have been informed and ask to have their privacyrespected at this time.
