A rubbish tip in the UK is drawing visitors from all over the country who are treating it as a lake suitable for swimming despite its high level of toxicity.
Although it has the appearance of a Mediterranean beach paradise with shocking blue waters and white rock faces, it is actually a tip filled with all kinds of decaying matter including cars, dead animals, excrement, rubbish, and according to the Daily Mail, condoms and used syringes.
The suprising hue of the water is caused by the limestone framing the lake which leak chemicals in the water.
People are travelling from across the country in order to visit the bizarre spectacle, some even daring to go for a swim, despite the water toxicity being similar to that of bleach.
According to the Daily Mail, the lake has a toxicity of 11.3, while bleach is 12.6, ammonia at 11.5.
