TEHRAN (Reuters) - Hundreds of supporters of Iran's opposition leader Mirhossein Mousavi gathered on Wednesday in a central Tehran street and chanted slogans despite a ban on any "illegal" gatherings, a witness said.

"There are hundreds, chanting God is greatest. Police and Basij militia are outnumbering the protesters," the witness said.
