Thousands of rioters and looters have stormed across London.
The violence is increasing into the week as buildings in Croydon, Peckham and Lewisham are set ablaze, while gangs of looters roam the streets of Hackney Clapham and Camden. Rioting also broke out in the English cities of Liverpool, Birmingham and Bristol.
Thousands of officers have been called in to deal with the worst unrest London has seen in years.
