SAS Lance Corporal Leon Smith
SAS Lance Corporal Leon Smith was fatally shot in the head on September 28, 2011 during an operation in Afghanistan's Wardak province. He was coincidentally the first medic to treat SAS Lance Corporal Douglas Grant, who was killed in Afghanistan a month earlier.
