The 2012 Budget: At a glance
The government is on track to post a $197 million surplus in 2014/15 with a budget that saves $3 billion and raises $1.4b in new revenue. There are no surprises in Finance Minister Bill English's second consecutive zero budget, presented to parliament on Thursday.
