A man reported missing from his Waimate home has been confirmed as one of the two bodies found in a South Canterbury forestry block. Police say they identified the body of Jason Frandi, 43, but have yet to name the woman whose body was found nearby. The bodies were found by motorcyclists late on Sunday morning in the Waitaki Valley, about 75km southwest of Timaru, during a charity ride to raise money for Waimate Main School.
