Six gang associates accused of commercial growing and supplying cannabis and of participating in a criminal group have been arrested in Bay of Plenty. The arrests were made on Wednesday morning following a four-month investigation into commercial cannabis cultivation across Bay of Plenty and South Waikato. Detective Senior Sergeant Greg Turner says the arrests were made following the execution of search warrants around Te Puke and Maketu, east of Tauranga.
