A British base jumper fell more than 180 feet to his death after clinging on to a cliff for three hours - during which time he calmly spoke away to his girlfriend on his mobile phone. Jake Simkins, who was on holiday with his pregnant girlfriend on the Greek island of Zante, was base-jumping when his parachute became tangled on the cliff face. He called his girlfriend at a nearby hotel to get help but, tragically, Greek authorities were unable to rescue the 41-year-old before he fell to Navagio Beach after being caught by a gust of wind.
