The wife of murdered Manawatu farmer Scott Guy broke down as she recalled their plans to sell puppies in the days before his death. Kylee Guy was pregnant with the couple's second child when her husband was shot dead in the driveway of their Aorangi Road home on July 8, 2010. Mr Guy's brother-in-law, Ewen Macdonald, is on trial for the murder in the High Court at Wellington. Mrs Guy cried in the witness stand on Wednesday as she read aloud a flyer the couple had made to sell their dog's puppies.
