Orana Wildlife Park staff are mourning the loss of their iconic 19-year-old male giraffe Harold, who died overnight. He was the inspiration behind the giraffe mascot of the Life Education Trust. Orana's Animal Collection Manager Ian Adams has worked with Harold since he arrived in Christchurch from Chicago in 1994.
