The dive boots allegedly worn by Scott Guy's killer were very quiet and perfect for a burglar, a court has heard. Owners of other pairs of Proline dive boots have been called to give evidence in the High Court at Wellington, where Manawatu farmer Ewen Macdonald is on trial, accused of murdering Mr Guy - his brother-in-law - in the driveway of his Aorangi Road home the early hours of July 8 in 2010. Rippled sole impressions were left on the ground around his body, and the Crown on Monday called witnesses to give evidence on the footprints. The Crown alleges Macdonald owned a pair of size 9 Proline dive boots which left the impressions.
