An eye-witness to the collapse of Christchurch’s CTV building has likened its failure to that of New York's Twin Towers. The Royal Commission of Inquiry has heard today from Michael Williams, who was working for IRD at the time of the February 2010 earthquake He says he saw the CTV building fall from his fourth floor office across the road. Mr Williams told commissioners he heard a huge rumbling sound when he saw the building collapse.
