A New Zealand man killed in Vanuatu was punched to the ground as he tried to stop a man from bashing a woman outside a nightclub, Vanuatu Police say. The dead man, who was living in Vanuatu, was partying with a woman and her friends in the Planet nightclub in Port Vila, the nation's capital on the island of Efate, just before the incident happened between 1am and 2am on Friday.
