A four-year-old boy has taken his childhood obsession one step too far by bidding on the online auction of a $29,990 train. Metlink, the public transport arm of Greater Wellington Regional Council, is selling the English Electric 2-car Electric Multiple Unit train on Trade Me. Fairfax reports Metlink was ecstatic at the bid at first, but soon learned it was placed by an enthusiastic four-year-old using the account of smiley134.
