Japanese citizens have been told to avoid unnecessary trips into central Auckland amid reports of drunkenness and violence in the city. The New Zealand Japanese Society issued a warning to its members on Thursday, as well as offering tips on ways to avoid being harassed, the New Zealand Herald reported.
