The Government's under fire for the amount being paid to members of its Work and Income board. Official papers reveal the Government's not used the Cabinet fees framework when setting the board's remuneration because the standard fees wouldn't allow it to attract the people and skills it wanted. Green Party co-leader Metiria Turei is critical of the $58,500 sum Paula Rebstock's receiving to chair the board.
