A concrete truck left a seven kilometre spill of concrete on the northwestern motorway in west Auckland this afternoon. The spill threatened to clog traffic as motorists were advised to steer clear of the trail which extended from the Te Atatu off ramp, down Edmonton Road, and up Henderson Valley Road. Auckland Transport spokesman Mark Hannan said that the spill could cause delays to cars and buses. The spill has since been cleared up, avoiding the major evening commuter rush.
