Blake explorers set off on historic journey

During the 100 man guard which was part of the celebrations to welcome the Governor General to the Navy Base for the first time in his new role. Teenage explorers were selected in May to go on the Young Blake Expedition, with the aim of increasing the understanding of the marine reserves and the planet’s oceans.
