Serial sex offender Stewart Murray Wilson, known as the Beast of Blenheim, has been released from prison. Wilson, who was convicted for numerous sex offences in 1996, walked free about 6am on Wednesday and into his new home - unit No 5 outside Whanganui Prison but on prison grounds. There has been outrage from the Whanganui community over his release.
