NZ First leader Winston Peters is predicting "widespread racial strife" over water rights and says the government should back off its plan to partially privatise state-owned energy companies. Mr Peters sees Thursday's national hui decision to confront the government over the sale of shares in Mighty River Power as a divisive move that could lead to decades of dispute.
