The head of the Jewish Council is deeply disappointed by the desecration of Jewish headstones at an Auckland cemetery. Swastikas and anti-semitic graffiti were spraypainted on the headstones in a part of the cemetery on Symonds Street overnight. Jewish Council president Stephen Goodman is horrified by the attack. "It is incredibly disappointing to think that this sort of thing happens in New Zealand," he told NZ Newswire.
