Senior members of Urban Search and Rescue will give evidence today at the Coroner's inquest into some of the CTV victims. Yesterday, Civil Defence faced questions over its processes directly after the earthquake. Civil Defence controller Jane Parfitt admitted yesterday the two hours it took for an engineer with vital equipment to fill out a form before he could volunteer at CTV was far too long - and lessons had been learnt. Contractors who were part of the first group at the scene also gave evidence.
