The idea of keeping one face of a Christchurch clock forever showing nine minutes to one, has been rejected. A group of city councillors had been considering the possibility of stopping one face of the Victoria Clock Tower at 12.51 - the time the February earthquake struck. But Environment and Infrastructure Committee chair Claudia Reid says the clock will be restored to show the correct time on all four faces. "We were all of one mind on that, there was no variance of opinion."
