Forget cheese before bed. Scientists have invented an app to shape your dreams.
The Dream:On app lets you create your own dream by playing a sound that subliminally influences your subconscious.
From a peaceful garden to a busy street, or even space adventures, you can select your 'soundscape' to suit you.
The app works beside your head as sensors detect when the sleeper is dreaming.
During the night, when we pass through the dreaming phase of sleep, the app then plays the chosen soundscape.
When the dreaming is over, the alarm goes off to increase your chances of remembering the dream.
On the list for planned soundscapes - celebrity voices and even US president Barack Obama.
