Flash mob makes birthday boy cry

By Sarah Urlich | View Archive May 25th, 2010, 2:53 pm

On your average morning's bus ride to work, you're lucky to even get a smile out of your fellow commuters.

When this clip appeared on my computer screen I felt a few tears well up, as a group of local commuters from Denmark organise a happy birthday tribute for their favourite bus driver.

On a seemingly normal morning the bus driver, Mukhtar, goes about his day as usual, picking up and dropping off passengers.

Then just like a scene from a musical one commuter pulls out a trumpet to play a tune and sparks a sing-along from the whole bus.

A flash mob then stops the bus in the middle of the road, before revealing signs of support for the unsuspecting driver.

Mukhta is reduced to tears and bombarded with hugs from his fellow passengers.
