Everyone who reads this blog has a fantastic opportunity to get their hands on a BlueAnt Supertooth 3 hands-free kit for their car - but first the review:

With the forthcoming law change banning the use of handheld cell phone while driving there's been a noticeable rise in the number of hands-free kits being advertised for in-car use.

But do I really want one?

As a technology geek mobile phones are one of those things I love to play with (and I've never hidden my desire to own an iPhone) but I actually like being out of contact with people while in the car.

So I considered the ban on mobile phones in cars a good thing - not just for safety reasons but because I could safely ignore whomever was trying to get hold of me for another half an hour.

And then BlueAnt went and gave me their Supertooth 3 to review.

Half an hour playing (which essentially broke down as two minutes to set it up, 28 minutes calling everyone in my phone book) and I'm converted.

I consider myself as something of a tech expert, but I'm convinced even the tech illerati amongst you have the ability to set it up. Switch on the Bluetooth in your phone, pair it to the Supertooth 3, choose the language and let it do its stuff.

It's simple to use once it's set up with only a couple of buttons to press on the front (and volume buttons on the top should you need it).

And if your phone supports voice activated dialling then you can do that too - the only thing which can't be automated is hanging up a call. So I just wait for the other person to do that.

Lazy, me?

I had people phone me while I was rushing along the motorway with the windows down and while I was sitting in a traffic jam and I'm told my voice came across fine under both conditions.

One or two reviews mention that if you're softly spoken then you may have to speak up to be heard properly - but being a natural loud-mouth I can't really test that.

The other good thing is that the Supertooth 3 can be paired with up to eight devices - so for those businesses where people can use staff cars it's going to be less expensive to switch over to a decent hands-free kit.

And the best thing is it's even easier to ignore the calls I don't want to receive. If your phone allows its contacts to be exported then the Supertooth 3 will import them and use them to convert the caller's number into a name and tell you who is phoning.

For example, should my mother-in-law's phone number be stored in my mobile as 'The Evil One' (Not that I'd ever consider doing that. Definitely not. Me? Nah) then when she phones my Bluetooth beauty will announce to everyone in the car that 'The Evil One' is calling.

Think of all the fun you can have with that!

So all in all, I'm very impressed with the BlueAnt Supertooth 3.

It's easy to set-up, easy to use and it's text to speech means hours of fun on long trips as I get Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy to phone me to make sure the kids are behaving.

And to mark the change in law the nice folks at BlueAnt have given me two Supertooth 3s to give away to two lucky Tech Talks readers.

But given these things retail for around the $200 mark it's not going to be a simple giveaway - you're going to have to work for it!

So for your chance to win one of these tiny bundles of joy tell me:

1) Who is the transport minister responsible for this piece of legislation and
2) According to the government how many injury crashes and fatalities were there between 2003 and 2008 due to telecommunications devices?
