15 Of The Best Reese Witherspoon-Inspired 2020 Challenge Memes

We can always count on Reese Witherspoon to bring some joy to the internet.

Whether it's paying homage to her iconic 1990s looks, heading over to Beyoncé and Jay-Z's Golden Globes table to ask for some champagne or sharing some excellent Legally Blonde throwbacks, the 44-year-old is an Instagram godsend.And now, she's sparked a meme movement.

Earlier this week, the Oscar-winning actress summarised 2020, month by month, illustrated by various depictions of herself throughout her career.

As many will find relatable, January and February started off optimistic and hopeful, with 'new year, new me' Elle Woods vibes at the ready and news of the new strain of Coronavirus, Covid-19, just beginning to bubble under the surface of news cycles.

Then March hit and the threat of the virus and talk of an impending lockdown appeared more substantial, and we were glued to our phone for updates. By April, we were fully in the grip of the pandemic, struggling with being confined to four walls and looking to TV, crying and cocktails to relieve some stress (behaviours which continued into May, if we're honest).

By June we'd sort of become accustomed to the new normal and it's pretty much of the same since. We've all felt a bit lost, just like Witherspoon in her Academy Award-nominated film Wild.
