Video has been released of the horrifying moment a car entered a freeway in the wrong direction and collided with a semi-trailer.

The incident took place last Tuesday near Aberdeen, Scotland and was captured by the semi-trailer’s on board GPS camera.

The 20-year-old driver of the Vauxhall Corsa somehow entered the freeway using an exit ramp, before swerving to avoid a huge truck barreling towards her.

Her car swerved into the path of another oncoming truck, before pulling back in and hitting the original truck.

The sudden movement caused the second truck to topple over on an embankment.

Amazingly, no one was injured in the incident.

Police have now used the on board camera footage to charge the 20-year-old woman with dangerous driving.
