Marlin jumps on deck of boat during Gold Coast fishing trip
A lucky Gold Coast fisherman has come incredibly close to being speared by a 70kg marlin in waters off Queensland.
The crew from Mufasa Sportfishing were 50 kilometres off Surfers Paradise competing in the Blue Marlin Bash when a marlin almost bashed them.

As the boat gets closer the fishermen fight hard to try and control the situation.
The bill of the game fish was centimetres from spearing a deck hand.
Luckily no one was injured in the encounter including the catch.
