Adele wore these exact make-up products for her Vogue cover

It may still be several days until Adele's new single is released – but the star has already found herself the centre of attention after appearing on the cover of the current UK and US editions of Vogue.

Now, Pat McGrath has revealed how she helped create the 33-year-old singer's stunning look for the British version of the magazine.

In a post on Instagram, the legendary make-up artist listed the precise products she used – including those enlisted for the star's dramatic eyes.

This included the Pat McGrath Dark Star Mascara, £40, and the Perma Precision Liquid Eyeliner, £26.

The make-up icon also enlisted – again from her own collection – the MatteTrance Lipstick in the shade 'Christy', as well as the Ultraglide Lip Pencil in the shade 'Buff'.

Captioning an image of the singer, McGrath, 56, wrote: "HEAD OVER HEELS IN LOVE with the most MAJOR @Adele."

She worked on the Vogue shoot with photographer Steven Meisel, hairstylist Guido Palau and editor Edward Enniful.

Princess Beatrice's husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and Liz Hurley's son Damian were among those to congratulate her work.

The singer also took part in another shoot with the Vogue US team, and she shared images on Instagram from both.

Adele – who is about to release the single Easy On Me, as well as her fourth album, 30 – opened up in her transatlantic interviews about her dramatic weight loss and the conversations around her body.

Speaking to journalist Giles Hattersley for British Vogue, she said: "It was because of my anxiety. Working out, I would just feel better.

"It was never about losing weight, it was always about becoming strong and giving myself as much time every day without my phone. I got quite addicted to it. I work out two or three times a day.

"So I do my weights in the morning, then I normally hike or I box in the afternoon, and then I go and do my cardio at night. I was basically unemployed when I was doing it. And I do it with (personal) trainers."

She added: "People are shocked because I didn’t share my 'journey'. They’re used to people documenting everything on Instagram, and most people in my position would get a big deal with a diet brand.

"I couldn’t give a flying f***. I did it for myself and not anyone else. So why would I ever share it? I don’t find it fascinating. It’s my body."
